My Coronavirus, to you I write.
I hate the way you infect, spread and hide,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the big divide.
Let me compare you to the harmful flu?
You are more destructive and more cruel.
Dark clouds dull the spring flowers because of you,
And the kids sit at home instead of going to school.
How do I hate you? Let me count the ways.
I hate your undisputed strength and rareness.
Thinking of your wrong greatness fills my days.
My hate for you is quite enormous.
Now I must away with a riant heart,
Remember my harsh words whilst we're apart.
