Alan Bathe

From Ireland

I'm a fun-loving man from the Isle of green, yes that's right, Ireland! I have been writing poetry for ten years now and I've raked up an impressive 438 poems, they deal with international issues as well as the obscure which is my favourite theme because I'm a surrealist.

What inspires me?

Nature, obscurity, colours, family life, humour(especially Irish humour), physique/beauty of a woman, innocence, conspiracy, agony of war, the perception of war, been in love, civilizations, hardship, art, culture, master of trade/bartering, poignancy, loss/sadness, depression, modern tools, structures and geography/location.

My best line

"love like no other on our steamy ships, our doves fly over lighthouses no bother, save the bows on the ripples of the bay and watch as they say: "swim down and through, experience the blue and my Orion will meet you."
