Do you notice how he talks,
do you see the way he walks?
See how he looks inebriated
even when he's not?
There are voices in the corner
of every conversation
pieces to a puzzle making me
Am I the center of attention?
I think I'm the center of attention.
That guy is muttering to himself again.
He's talking to the ceiling!
Maybe if we remind him that those shoes
are out of style,
he'll start wigging!
It is not a hard concept to think
that I stand out like a kitchen sink
without running water
when all you want is a drink.
I think it's obvious to me
what they're thinking about
they're thinking about me.
Oh just look at fattie, eating all those snacks
buying way too much for lunch and dinner
no wonder he sits by himself reading stacks
of school papers because he has no class.
Stop it, stop it all of you.
I can't take it anymore,
all the voices in my head
never letting me go.
Look at me, going crazy
No one even notices.
What are those voices that I'm hearing?
All the words that I've been hearing,
they were not meant for me.
They're just jumbled conversations
that I jump at and think they're about me.
When in reality, I'm invisible,
I exist in my own world.
Just as they exist in their own too.
