Unrequited love and the fear that you will lose a friendship if they ever find out your secret.
Unrequited love and the fear that you will lose a friendship if they ever find out your secret.

Like a flower you were so beautiful
That a garden was made just for you
Such a fool am I
I should have made you mine
Planted within my soul so that you could grow
You lay within that garden still...unattended
Weeds, jealous of your beauty, choke you now
Trying to destroy my love
I want to rip them away from you
Not caring if my hands bleed from the thorns
Yet I won’t take you from that place
Past all of my want and yearning
Is this fear
That if I try to make you mine
You will die.
