Read introduction

This poem is about a woman of whom I had a brief attraction/interesting interaction and more than likely still do. I have my eyes on other women at the moment as we speak.

As If We Were Weapons

Cam00137-2by Glenn McCrary 26 Sep 2013

Before tonight no woman had grazed me
In quite the manner you had established

I was but a mere infant
To what causes a woman to whine

And to the certain ways that such an act
Could be executed so stealthily
Just like a loaded weapon…

Your fingers knew the exact regions
In which you could captivate

Your body knew how
To gyrate like The American Dream
With all that for years you had desired
Lying upon the cusp of a whisper…
