Glenn McCrary

From Cordova, TN

For as long as I can remember I have always had an undying passion for words and even moreso the English language. As a kid my mom would always engage in flashcard sessions with me in order to help me discover and strengthen the tower that is my vocabulary. She would frequently take me to libraries and check out several books for and read them over with me to the point of subconscious acquirement. Naturally it was poetry that I sought after for means of further discovery. I wrote my first poem at the age of thirteen. In November of 2008, I appropriately resumed writing poetry and have been writing ever since. Since that time I have written numerous books of poetry with my most recent one being "ON" which can be found on Formerly I attended Southern New Hampshire University to study creative writing and English with a special concentration on poetry. Later on I plan to proceed into the direction of the industry of writing and publishing.

What inspires me?

Simply put I am inspired by everything. There is not a person, place, or thing that does not inspire me.
