Read introduction

Everyone faces death, no one is exempt. I wrote this poem to reflect my view that we shouldn't fear it.

She comes in but a fleeting moment,
Passing over like a breeze,
Transport for a different journey
On an ever calmer sea.

Death is just another freedom,
Embracing and releasing pain,
Ever constant, gently leading,
Taking us back home again.

She will visit those remaining
When their tide has reached the shore,
Escort for this same journey,
To a peace forevermore.
