Snowdrop, tulip, daffodil and crocus.
Your colours coax dull lenses to focus.
Rain often drenched your bulbs and roots.
But not even frost deterred your shoots.
Bravely you've borne your cold winter beds.
Patience rewarded now you raise your heads.
Anticipation and joy in abundance you bring.
Hardy stalks are flag-bearers signalling spring.
