THE FRAUD The black skin we wear with pride As African as I am that is my only drive Africa the land of the bold An enriched terrain of gold Mmm, sweet honey filled our tummy and mouth From North,West,East and South And then came the God of wisdom From a foreign Kingdom Who's wisdom is of deceit They bargained for a sale, a story to be told without receipt Taking away our strong and able to a place of the unknown Trying to rebel, the gods became angry and blood was the only way to atone They slaughtered our men and women The science of reflection made us exchange our minerals Guns and gun powders we cheerised more and started our own mass slaughter Oh Africa, the land i praised Oh Africa the house of the brave What has become of you??
