Minestrained Relations

Slovby alva25 Jan 2015

As it turns out,

You have been on my mind for four months now

Until I realised, in all our conversations

We can't get past the weather

At least as the seasons change

We'll have something new to talk over.

We have so much in common

If that excludes everything other than the common cold,

I suppose my infatuation is simply as shallow

As the spoon shape our bodies make

In the uncomfortably soupy summer days

Wearing as many clothes as conversations

As it turns out,

You have this shallow collarbone crevice

I like to kiss, outlining our ghost words,

with my ghost lips.
