Count You Twice.

When night blinds your vision
and you stumble around,
every breath a collision
without solid ground -

Maybe knowing this
might sometimes suffice:
when I count my blessings,
I count you twice.

And when darkness pulls you
from so restless a sleep
and your own brain fools you
to sell your worth cheap:

Maybe knowing thís
might sometimes suffice:
when I count my blessings,
I count you twice.

When your amount of listlessness
deserves its own praise
and every second underlines
it's One Of Those Days

a small ray of light
may be enough to suffice:
when I count my blessings,
I count you twice.

When each stubborn breath
just adds to your load,
remember: knowing you exist
is what keeps me afloat.

Sometimes the tiniest speck
of hope may suffice,
and when I count my blessings,
I count YOU twice.
