Spring

As I step into the garden
Fragrances and sounds of Spring
New songs of unrecognised birds
While rushing to bird nests
Moss, sticks flying high in beaks...
Wherever my eyes can reach:
Tiny to big flowers cover the ground.
Snowdrops, crocuses, hyacinths;
All Hellebore still in full bloom.
Bees are buzzing around,
Bumblebees big and tireless.
Feel the warmth of the sunshine,
Caresses my face gently.
Spring within invigorating,
Bursting with energy to break
The still body of winter loose...
Wanting to fly to all corners,
Prepare the garden for long
Summer days, breezy hot nights...
Eager to start, in full vigour,
Ignore all hobbies, in negligence
Grant me please my garden,
The rest will follow suit in the end...
