I am a part of all that I have ever met,
and all that I have ever seen.
I am a part of all that I have ever hoped for,
and all that I have ever dreamed.
My feet they stride upon this bitter land,
hot, in summer, cooled down in sweetest pools.
My shoulders, weighed down by dark moments,
broad and robust, they encounter heroes and fools.
My waistline, plump and soft,
swollen with false celebrations of rich food.
The lines upon my aging face are etched
with joy and pain of ever changing mood.
My hips are wide and firm and tell a tale
of how they bore my sweetest gift.
My knees, worn down with prayer
they held me up, my soul to lift.
My heart it is a dwelling place,
there hides, the inner child I yearn to love.
My eyes, they know the truth, so full,
are ready now, to bear the light above.
I am a part of all that I have ever met,
and all that I have ever seen.
I am a part of all that I have ever hoped for,
and all that I have ever dreamed.
