Hail the winter for its rain
For its cold, for its lonesome
Hate it for the rain, for its pain.
Glorify the spring for its blossom
For its weather, for its colors
But it is awful for some.
Praise the summer for its new lovers
For its sea and sun, for its slowing-down,
Curse it in the absence of others.
Worship the fall for its brown
For its rebirths, for its resurrections,
Loath it for the above, frown.
All seasons come and go, like people, no honorable mentions,
I love and hate them all, with all of their best intentions.
