Close your eyes and sleep,
Your time has come to go.
Chased from your land,
Harried, harassed and hounded to hell,
You are the last one.
It was not your fault to be caught in time
With hunger in your belly,
And fire in your eyes.
You came from the ancient world now gone forever,
You climbed the hills to sing
A lonely song, and no-one hears you anymore.
They're all gone now.
In your bones are millennia of enmity with us,
But in the end you became closer than a brother.
Its not fair.
Running, you cannot escape being hunted,
And you the hunter.
With your passing you take with you the last refuge,
No more to cross the wild land.
We are never the same without you.
