Read introduction

Part of the Post-it note poetry event, 2014. I took a detour today trying to avoid some street salespeople and ducked down a lane way. Thankfully my town still has a bit of character, you can see the backs of shops built a hundred odd years ago(old for Australia), rough and ready construction where stone and brick butt up against one another or lines where some buildings have been removed. This is in stark contrast to the shopfronts which even if sporting Victorian era decoration are well painted and formed.
