Read introduction

Part of the post it note poetry event 2014. I happened to be walking at dusk yesterday and perched rather oddly on top of our street sign was a tawny frog mouth (they usually prefer hiding in trees. But this one was bold as brass croaking away. I am also trying to reference Issa from his poem

よひ闇の一本榎なくかはづ
yoiyami no ippon enoki naku kawazu

darkening dusk--
in one nettle tree
singing frogs
