4. THE NATURAL WORLD.

This certainly needs to be entertained and pondered over.

Sign Of The Times.

Tsunamis that call round at Christmas
And earthquakes that visit at dawn,
Floods that wash away countries…
So many lost lives we must mourn.
There are famines and heatwaves a plenty,
With typhoons and hurricanes too –
Landslides that bury our houses
Which force us to live somewhere new.
Rogue waves that decimate shipping
And comets that threaten our world,
Tornadoes that drop down from wall clouds
With debris and body parts hurled.
There are plagues and diseases that kill us
And lightning strikes down to the floor,
Wild fires that burn down our forests
With our world heating up from the core.
Volcanoes that spew forth hot ashes
With rivers of lava as well…
Death comes in so many disguises
Bid “Welcome” to our living hell.
There are holes in the ozone and melting ice caps
And temperature change every year,
This global warming will kill if not checked
So continue your lives in great fear.
It’s a sign of the times that we live in
With natural disasters each day,
Go green or extinction is coming
Acknowledge what Earth has to say.
