I need a settled roof and the washing days of London.
Street peddling thrift shops to have me hunting
for something that smells like magic.

I've been avenues abroad,
Had my bitter here's and there's with history.
Been dipped in and out of a lackluster serendipity.

Once I removed myself from all that rips
The world became much smaller
Like a sip, a warm place to actually be a prince.
Six people and spare elbow room to exist
For once I could sit
Enjoy the spiciness of heights and
Dwell within my own mind
Thoughts anew.
Dreams freshly cut.

Handed over a few crinkled tips
Tapped the door frame twice
a reminder slip that I must do right by those at my side.
