The Moon

The moon
It dies tonight, only to rise stronger tomorrow

It waxes and wanes
but even on new moon nights,
A defining ring remains

In the span of one lifetime
We may die a million deaths
But we also live a million lives
Let our imprint remain
Even on the days we die

…Like the moon
