Ron Barton

Published twice by Tincture Journal in 2013, Ron Barton is a fresh face to the Perth poetry scene. His first collection of poetry, If God is a Poet, was released at the end of 2012 and, more recently, he has had poems published by Deakin University and displayed at the Sydney Fringe Festival and the University of Western Australia.

What inspires me?


My best line

A civilisation of slobs whose kingdom is their couch. Humanity is inhumane as we breed bloated bodies and condition our kids to consume.
