This poem is my own little quota in solidarity of those secondary school girls who were kidnapped by the terrorism sect in Borno state. It is a description of the ills being perpetrated by the sect. A reflection of the decadence in the security system

SAMBISA FOREST

The robust belly of Sambisa forest
has been matted by randy partridges
whose clucks, drub with lewd sensations

and the foul air keeps pouring

beheaded mahoganies lay fallow
with torn veins
mucus-filled wine trickle from
palm trees sickened by their mouths

and the foul air keeps pouring

the legion that tender unripe eggs
stashed in broken skulls
they rouse summer-like passion
pinching the air

graves are left to bleed to death
while hearts are shackled by their
thorny nest

and the foul air keeps pouring

breasts drooping
to kiss clods of earth
breasts dripping
with the frothy sap of malice
