Terry Trainor

From London

Write mostly prose and a fan of nature and social issues. I like to add music to my poems to add value to the reading experience. Member of the UK Arts Directory and have written a few books. Really enjoy writing and to me timing in any piece of art is the key that makes the difference. Nice to meet you, and if you do take some time to read any of my work, thanks for taking the time.

What inspires me?

Everything that makes me think or stirs an emotion. I try to see the world through other people's perspective and sometime it makes me angry or maybe sad. The nature side of my work is based before the enclosure laws of the turn of the 18th century. I try to combine the freedom of the land laws into contemporary settings and the past 150 years or so.

My best line

Sitting down staring at the wallpaper patterns merge into scenes, scenes of holding hands for the first time, There are many and it depends on the subject this is an example of loneliness. Scenes of laughing friends, faces in bright sunlight framed with home made haircuts, always a joker in the group, Dipping feet in clear running water on warm days, watching for fish, hoping to see one bigger than a minnow, It’s funny, who would have thought that insignificant moments would last for so many years, a whole lifetime.
